The role of Pierce City Fire is ever-changing in the lives of the communities we serve. Every emergency requires our firefighters to make an impact differently, as no call is the same. We take pride in our ability to respond professionally and interact with our community members so they can be confident that when they hear those emergency sirens blaring, help is on the way.
Pierce City Fire Department is a volunteer department. Stations are not manned. If you have an emergency, dial 9-1-1
What is the age limit to volunteer?
Volunteers must be 18 years or older.
Must pass a background check.
Must have a valid Missouri drivers license
Must have high school diploma or GED
How do I apply?
There are several ways you can apply. Click on the recruiting drop down to contact recruiting or fill out an online application. You can request an application via email, or anytime you see one of your firefighters.
Where do I pay my Fire dues?
Pierce City Fire Protection District is a tax based district. There are no dues owed by tax paying citizens who live in the district. This also means that services provided by Pierce City Fire are paid for through taxes. You will not receive a bill or owe anything if you live within the district.
What number do I call for an emergency?
9-1-1. There is no other number for you to call during an emergency.
